Through PreemieTest, BirthTech is eligible for the Grand Challenges Canada "Transition to Scale" program, funded by the Canadian government, with the goal of funding innovative ideas that have a proven impact on saving and improving lives. 
Our project is aligned with this objective, aiming to evaluate the use of PreemieTest in different birth scenarios and its ability to reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality through the recognition of prematurity at birth. 
To achieve this, PreemieTest will be used in 3 scenarios, namely: third-level hospitals, natural birth centers and midwifery groups. We believe that these 3 scenarios cover almost all possibilities for using the preterm test.
