He works as a regional instructor for the neonatal resuscitation and transport program and the pediatric resuscitation program (Advanced Support and Basic Life Support - PALS/BLS) of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics), where in addition to being an instructor he is also State Coordinator.

He has experience in the area of Physiotherapy with an emphasis on cardiorespiratory and neuropsychomotor development, working mainly on the following topics: neonatal and pediatric intensive care, early intervention, and follow-up of high-risk newborns. Participated as a member of the Research Ethics Committee at Hospital Sofia Feldman (2021-2023). She has experience as a preceptor and teacher (2014-2023), and as a tutor and coordinator of Clinical Teaching (2018-2023), in the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Neonatology at Sofia Feldman Hospital. She is currently coordinator of the southeast region of the research "Morbidity in the first 6 months of life of newborns assisted with the preemietest equipment: a prospective cohort".

She is currently Adjunct Professor of the Physiotherapy Course (area: Child Health) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Member of the teaching staff of the Postgraduate Program in Health and Development of the Central-West Region - UFMS and the Postgraduate Program in Movement Sciences - UFMS.
Works on the following topics: assessment and physiotherapeutic intervention in infants at risk for neurodevelopmental disorders, premature birth, exposure to risk factors (STORCH, clinical variables), neuropediatrics, brain functioning in infants, randomized clinical trials, cohort studies, comprehensive care to the child's health.

Since 2010 he has been a professor at UFRN. Works in undergraduate and postgraduate programs (master's and doctoral levels) and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Multidisciplinary Residency Program.
Due to her expanded perspective on the care of critically ill newborns, she has developed research in different national and international collaborations, is a reviewer and editor of national and international journals and has published more than 80 scientific articles.
